Analytic Insight (AI) is a full service survey research firm specializing in program evaluation and public opinion research related to public health and social service programs. 

AI is an economically disadvantaged, woman-owned HUB-Zone certified small business founded in 2007. Our offices are located in Lewiston Maine and our work is nationwide.

Aging and Disability

AI’s experience in aging and disability-related research includes extensive experience in:

  • Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs) research;

  • Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessments (CSNAs) for vocational rehabilitation agencies;

  • Strategic planning and community needs assessments for older and aging residents.

Housing and Homelessness

AI has experience with both planning for comprehensive strategies at the local level, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of community-based programs for the prevention and amelioration of homelessness at the national level.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

AI is committed to helping orgnaizations improve their ability to engage the public and operate in a way that is consistent with the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion. Our equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI or DEI) studies help to assess an organization's culture, processes and policies through an EDI lens.

Tobacco and ESD Use

We point proudly to our work on the Population Assessment of Tobacco and Health (PATH) study, the nation's largest study of tobacco and ESD use and health, as evidence of the quality of our work products and the innovations of our focus group and questionnaire design team. 

Community Satisfaction

AI provides resident satisfaction surveys, needs assessments, ballot measure feasibility, threshold and sunset testing. Our multi-modal methodology improves response rates and provides an economically efficient, statistically accurate and analytically valuable approach to:

  • Community needs assessments;

  • Resident satisfaction surveys;

  • Public opinion research;

  • Strategic planning related to services and infrastructure.

Health and Wellness

AI has extensive experience conducting program evaluations on topics including cardiovascular health, nutrition and physical activity, alcohol, tobacco and other substance use.

Our evaluation techniques include store inventory assessments, point of purchase intercept interviewing, environmental assessments and GIS mapping.
